Default Towbin to close Hummer Dealership in Las Vegas

The Wall Street Journal has reported that Towbin plans to close their Hummer Dealership in Las Vegas and begin selling SMART cars instead.

Here's a link to the news report: http://blogs.wsj.com/deals/2008/09/0...hut-its-doors/

At one time, having a Hummer Dealership in Vegas was like having a license to print money. Not only were hundreds of people lining up to buy Hummers they were paying thousands more to upfit them with wheels and accessories.

The fact that Hummer is closing their only dealership in Las Vegas says a lot about the current state of the car business and the economy.
