possum. There are approximately 75 that threw in 2000.00 to file an appeal. I don't have an exact number but I think I'm close. I am one of them. I hadn't been able to help before so I thought I'd try to help with the appeal.
I'll try to update as time goes on. On a case that seems so cut and dry its amazing this has taken so long and turned out the way it has. |

There was a hearing in the appeals court on December 5. I listened to the hearing over the phone. Not optimistic but I am still hopeful. After the government took actions that forced so many businesses to close this year, I am questioning how much sympathy there is for our case.

The appeals Court for the Federal Circuit decided against us on one of their two previous rulings. They decided that the franchises would have had no value if the government did not step in with assistance. They did not decide the second issue, that they forced Chrysler to terminate us. If enough of us are interested they will ask the Supreme Court to hear the case. I am not sure of the chances that the Supreme Court would agree to try the case. Disappointing news after all this time.

Why do I hear this for the first time on a internet BLOG? Shouldn't we hear from the attorneys directly?

Just talked to the attorneys for the group I'm in. Things are not dead yet. Not sure I completely understand it all but they are still working on it.

Most of the original attorneys are probably gone by now, case closed.
