Restricted Postings:

The following items/categories are restricted:

• Commercial items or services. (Firms that wish to sell on this site MUST be Approved Vendors.)
• Illegal items, counterfeit items and items that violate copyright laws.
• Pornography, alcohol, tobacco and firearms.
• Contests, promotions, lotteries, raffles, giveaways, etc.

Additional Requirements:

• All items listed as For Sale must include a price and a location.
• Posts must be updated when the item has been sold or the job opening is no longer available.

DealershipForum.com recommends that you do NOT list your phone number or e-mail address in your Classified Ad. This Forum is actively scanned by numerous Search Engines that will "grab" e-mail addresses and phone numbers resulting in SPAM and unwanted phone calls.

Posting Etiquette:

• As a courtesy to the other members, please limit your posting to one geographic section of the Forum - do not place a post in each of the Regional Sections.
• Please wait 48 hours before you "bump" your post to the top of the list with an update.
• Please use the Private Message System to address specific questions that do not pertain to the listing. (No thread hi-jacking.)

Final Thoughts:

The goal for this section is to make it a "Craigslist for Car People." If you want to sell your kid's Xbox 360, this is the place to do it. If you want to sell your Dad's 1998 Buick Roadmaster, you're in the right place.

If you own a Dealership and you want to sell some used Service Equipment or Special Tools, please feel free to place the ad. If you're a Used Car Manager and you're looking to wholesale a few units before they head to auction, please feel free to place the ad.

By contrast, if you're a Used Car Manager and you're looking to attract a retail customer, this is NOT the place to do it. If you're a Parts Manager and you want to offer "30% off all Accessories" this is NOT the place to do it. Both of the aforementioned ads would be examples of "commercial items" that are limited to Approved Vendors only.
