KIA Dealership in Alabama - No Blue Sky and only $200K down
I saw this ad and figured I had to start a thread on the forum - click here
The ad is for a KIA Dealership in Alabama where the dealer is willing to sell the store for no Blue Sky with only $200K down. Sounds like a hell of a deal to me... In fairness, I don't know any of the details and don't know whether it's a good deal or not. That said, if I wanted to live in Alabama I'd certainly check it out. Maybe it will be of interest to one of our members here? One of the coolest things about this forum for me is the fact that it has changed the way I see the world. Thanks to crowe's posts my eyes are open to options I never would have considered before. KIA's on a roll. They have great product today, a pipeline full of more product and based on everything crowe has shared with us, they take care of their dealers and the people who sell their cars. Is there anyone here who wants to live in Alabama and has $200K burning a hole in their pocket? |

The ad did say "Fire Sale" So its got to be a very low price. What kind of fire sale would be 1Million. Only if I had that 200K, maybe I will call the bank to see what kind of rate i could get on the loan.

The "Owner" calling it a great deal, and fire sale, does not mean it really is. He is a good salesman.

I think the big wild card would be the real estate. I know there's a Hyundai store in Arizona that's rumored to be for sale with no Blue Sky but the dealer expects the buyer to assume the note on his new facility. |

You should give the broker a call and see if you can talk to the dealer and establish a rapport. Maybe he has some insanity in his family too and he'll cut you a break....

I am so sorry about the "insanity" comment, I was thinking you were in the situation where you owned the store with your grandmother.... |
