Default Illinois CJDR Dealership experiences two Buy/Sells within one year

News reports indicate a Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram dealership in Oregon, IL has the unique distinction of going through two Buy/Sells in less than one year. For the full report - click here

According to the report, the Pete Harkness Auto Group bought the CJDR store from the Brian Bemis Auto Group last October. Harkness just sold the CJDR store to the Kunes Country Auto Group which placed new signage at the location to announce the ownership chance on April 2, 1015.

Here's a picture of the store that I captured with Google StreetView:

No doubt right after a big, closer attended, direct mail sale (with $3,000.00 grosses on every unit)!

Great point - on the upside, with that amount of spacing lot damage due to door dings should be almost zero.

I also smiled when I saw the Five Star logo on the brand sign - I'd be willing to bet that sign's still on display.

Default Do Buy/Sell packages still take a long time to get processed?

I think what caught my attention the most about this story is the fact that the Business Center and Auburn Hills were able to process two Buy/Sells within one year.

In my experience Buy/Sells can be complex and the amount of paperwork that the BC and Auburn Hills needs can be huge. If either the BC or Auburn Hills is backlogged the process can take even longer.

Who knows, maybe the BCs and Auburn Hills have streamlined the Buy/Sell process and made it quicker?
