Mopar updates Parts Return Policy

In response to Dealer input, Mopar announced that they would make the following changes to their Part Return Program:
  • 1% Return Allowance for Sales Groups 3 - 5
  • 2% Return Allowance for Sales Groups 1 - 2
  • 120 Day Return Policy - All Parts over $200 ordered by DGO
  • D2D Obsolete - 55% of Dealer Net with Expanded Volume
The release from Mopar indicated that the previous Return Allowance was 0%, so this appears to be a great enhancement. :)

Concerning D2D Obsolete - I have no idea what that is? (D2D is Dealer to Dealer?)

Yep - D2D is Dealer to Dealer transactions.

Well, since you did such a great job answering the D2D question, do you have any idea how the program works? :)

I'm guessing that it's an opportunity for a dealer to sell non-returnable parts to another dealer and receive 55% of the net price. Who gets the other 45%. Or, do I have the whole program mixed up and the 55% refers to something else?

If you don't know, please don't feel obligated to ask - I know that you're busy with more important tasks.
